As the crimson river flows
The pain is invisible
No one knows

Torn by the war I rage inside
Two minds split my head
When the battle has no end
I watch myself die over and over again
Through different eyes jaded and cruel
A mind slaughtered by itself
With no remorse
Death waits to enter and take a corpse

Every mark is a painful token
Of the time I have been left broken
The crown gets heavier every day
In a world of confusion and disarray
I’m screaming out, come what may
I will be my own salvation
I will not demise this day

Through grief and mourning
I come out of the shadows
With strength summoned from the depths
I pull this crown out of my head
As blood spills down my face
I’m freed from this dark embrace
Out of the chasm I came
